Euphoria’s New Season Low-Key Drops Super Soon
After a four-year wait, the HBO drama is officially set to return to our screens in April.

After what feels like an eternity, Euphoria is officially preparing for its long-awaited return. HBO confirmed on Wednesday that season three of the Emmy-winning drama will premiere in April 2026, sending fans into immediate celebration and a little touch of disbelief across social media.
The announcement came via an Instagram post featuring Zendaya back in character as Rue, sitting in a pickup truck and looking unmistakably like her character would look in that very Euphoria way.
“Let’s ride. April 2026," the simple and ominous caption read.
The excitement is especially intense because the wait for season three has been unusually long for any show. The show’s second season aired back in early 2022, after it first debuted in 2019. But between creator Sam Levinson’s lengthy writing process, scheduling conflicts with the now mega-famous cast, the death of cast member Angus Cloud, industry strikes, and production delays, the gap between seasons stretched into a full four years and counting.
“It’s literally been 84 years 😭😭,” one commenter wrote.
“OMG it’s really happening,” said another.
“Nah that was quick lmfaoooo,” one fan expressed. “Please don’t make it look rushed bruh, I truly missed euphoria Sundays.”
Season three will bring back all the major familiar faces, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Colman Domingo. The upcoming season is also set to introduce an unexpectedly stacked list of new cast members, from Danielle Deadwyler and Natasha Lyonne to Eli Roth and Trisha Paytas.
