Has Club Chalamet Found Her Next Star to Stan?

The woman behind the controversial Timothée Chalamet account attempted to start a new one for Connor Storrie. We should all be scared.

It looks like Simone Cromer, publicly known as the person who runs the Timothée Chalamet fan account Club Chalamet, may have found a new up-and-coming young actor to stan: Connor Storrie.

A couple of days ago, she was in the comments of his Golden Globes post saying “Jesus” to a photo he posted. And now she’s attempting to officially start an account dedicated to the Heated Rivalry actor.

“I have become repulsed from the immature discourse surrounding Heated Rivalry and the lead actors and supporting actors,” Simone posted from her personal X account, @TheatreofZen. “Haters invited me to create Storrie Times which will focus on #ConnorStorrie but will also include cool Hudson info.”

Oh my god.

Simone posted several more tweets documenting the difficult time she was having making the account public.

“I have to submit identification to Instagram for the Storrie Times account,” she said. “While they are verifying, the page will not be visible for hopefully a short while. Stand by.”

If it seems like she’s jumping ship, this isn’t really a shock. Many have pointed out that the main reason this could be happening now is that Chalamet seems to be soft launching an engagement to longtime partner Kylie Jenner. Some noted that before she ever even created Club Chalamet, she was a stan for actor Michael Fassbender. This was before he got engaged to fellow actor Alicia Vikander.

“This is not going to go well,” said pop culture analyst on @thesimplysimone on TikTok. “Mainly because of the Heated Rivalry fanbase, but also the amount of invasiveness that Simone does. I can’t believe I share a name with this woman.”

She continued: “The way Hudson and Connor have been open about how much the fandom and just the overall press around the show has been a lot for them—this is not going to go well.”

Well, @thesimplysimone might be right, because it seems like the Connor Storrie fan account on Instagram has already been disabled, with some saying it’s related to fans reporting it.

“It looks like Instagram is being difficult,” Club Chalamet said on X. “I think there are too many new accounts opening up related to Heated Rivalry and the boys. I may recreate another one later this week, but not use Connor's image. I saw another acct experience the same challenges. Hold tight.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We definitely will.
