Travis Kelce Follows Engagement Announcement With American Eagle Collection
Kelce’s teaming up with the brand for a new limited-edition capsule that’s out today.

The ads from jean companies just won’t end.
Following the backlash to Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle jeans ad, the hype of Beyoncé’s Levi’s campaign, and the virality of girl group Katseye’s Gap commercial, it was obviously time for Travis Kelce, newly engaged to Taylor Swift, to step into the ring.
The athlete’s teaming up with American Eagle (hard side-eye) for a new limited-edition collection, AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce, the company announced on Wednesday.
The collection’s been in the making for almost a year and is a collaboration with Tru Kolors, his sportswear and lifestyle brand, Kelce said in a press release.

“It was an awesome opportunity to team up with an established brand where both sides were excited to truly collaborate on every decision in the design and creative process that brought the 'AE x TK' collection to life,” he said. “I started Tru Kolors in 2019 on the foundation of showing up authentically and having fun with style, and we wanted this collab to reflect that same energy.”
The first drop of the collection lands in stores today, while the second part will hit on Sept. 24. It features items like varsity jackets, sweaters, and cargo pants. Per the release, Kelce and his team were part of “every step of the process,” with Kelce taking a “hands-on approach” to “design inspiration,” fabric, silhouettes, and so on.
The campaign pulled some other familiar faces in the sports world, including tennis star Anna Frey, Kiyan Anthony, and gold medal gymnast Suni Lee.
Once again according to the release, Kelce is enthused by the collaboration. "I’m excited for it to finally be out in the world.”
