Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Announce Engagement
And now the wedding speculation begins.

What song will Taylor Swift walk down the aisle to? What designer dress will she wear? Who will be invited to the wedding?
These are the questions we need answers to now that she and football player Travis Kelce are engaged.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," the couple said in the caption of a shared Instagram post on Tuesday afternoon. They turned off the comments to the post, but it garnered over 3 million likes in less than an hour.
Swifties couldn’t reach for their phones fast enough to get their TikTok reactions out.
“To all the people who said it’s a pr relationship, it’s a pr relationship…BOOOOO,” content creator Olivia Julianna said. “You think Ms. Blondy billionaire over there is going to tarnish the value of a wedding by having one for pr!??”
The news of the engagement comes weeks after Taylor’s kicked off the rollout for her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl. There have been countdowns, album cover after album cover, and vinyl variant after vinyl variant. The album is officially due out on Oct. 3. She announced the album and gave out a slew of details about it via Travis and his brother Jason’s podcast New Heights.
“I wanted melodies that were so infectious that you were almost angry at it and lyrics that are just as vivid, but crisp and focused and completely intentional," she said about the new album.
"I would be playing three shows in a row, I'd have three days off. I'd fly to Sweden, go back to the tour, and I was pretty exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally simulated and so excited to be creating."
Taylor and Travis started dating in 2023 and their romance has been nothing short of a public spectacle, with her often showing up to his games, including when he won the Super Bowl in 2024.
