Sabrina Carpenter Shuts Down Lollapalooza With Chicago Legends Earth, Wind & Fire
“I thought we could let loose and just groove.”

Sabrina Carpenter closed out her headlining set at Lollapalooza on Sunday with special guests Earth, Wind & Fire.
“I thought we could let loose and just groove,” she said, dressed in a hot-pink jumpsuit with her signature hairdo, right before the legends appeared to perform “Let’s Groove” and the crowd-pleaser “September," making the audience feel like they were in a disco. Earth, Wind & Fire are Chicago icons, and by all accounts, the crowd knew who they were.

The rest of the set was packed with fan-favorite hits and viral anthems that have made Carpenter a constant on every playlist. “Please Please Please,” “Espresso,” and “Manchild” were on the bill.

And speaking of “Manchild,” Carpenter is set to release that song on her next album, Man’s Best Friend, due out August 29. She revealed the full tracklist last week.
