Post Malone Launches His Own Fashion Line in Paris: ‘Why the F*ck Not Now?’
The artist is, by his own admission, ‘a son of a b*tch for some plaid.’

Post Malone officially stepped into the fashion arena this past weekend with the debut of his new label, Austin Post.
The rapper unveiled the collection at Hôtel de Maisons, an 18th-century mansion in Paris that was once home to the late Karl Lagerfeld.
The collection leaned heavily on Western vibes.
According to GQ, it included “cowboy-cut leather trousers, starched jeans, suede suiting, and relaxed fleece hoodies and sweatpants.”
Human models ripped the runway, but the show ended on a dramatic note, with a model riding a horse through the space, a literal embodiment of Post’s cowboy-meets-couture ethos.
For Post, the decision to dive into fashion wasn’t overthought.
“Well, this just came as a spur-of-the-moment type deal. I’ve always wanted to make clothes, so I figured, ‘Why the fuck not now? Why not do it just right now?’” he explained to GQ.
@nssmagazine Last night in Paris, Post Malone unveiled the first collection of his new brand, Austin Post. The show took place at the historic Maison Pozzo di Borgo, once home to Karl Lagerfeld, which was transformed for the occasion into a true Western set, complete with cowboys and even a horse on the runway. The artist, whose real name is indeed Austin Post, wanted to pay tribute to his Texan country roots. What do you think? #fashiontiktok #tiktokfashion #postmalone #paris #fashionshow

Still, there’s nothing casual about his excitement for the process.
“I love picking swatches and fabrics. I’m a son of a bitch for some plaid,” he said. “Feeling the different [fabrics], all the Japanese materials and all that stuff. I’m like, ‘Dude, I’ve never touched a shirt like this before. This is fucking awesome.’ It’s cool, the way you see it all get made. A lot of back and forth from Utah and LA and all that, and it’s just a lot of fucking fun.”
Post says the collection mirrors his current style sensibilities.
“I just wanted to make a brand of shit that I would wear, but I wanted to make it. I don’t dress as flashy, and I wear the same shit every day, just about," he said. "My jeans and my shirt and these exact boots every fucking day.”
Even so, he insists the brand is about more than his own closet.
“I’d like people to buy it. I would like that. No, I’d like that and I’d like... I’d just really want to express myself. If you like it, rock it. I think that’s cool, help people express themselves, so I think that’s pretty special.”
