PinkPantheress is making a direct move against ticket scalpers for her upcoming North American run.

The singer-producer announced she’ll be using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange for her next tour, which means tickets can only be resold at the original price and will be non-transferable for all Ticketmaster shows across the U.S. and Canada, excluding a couple cities.

“In an effort to give fans the best chance in getting tickets at the original price, we’re using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange where tickets can only be resold at face value and are non-transferrable for shows sold on Ticketmaster in the U.S. and Canada," she wrote in an Instagram story. "While we can’t control what happens across third-party resale sites we’re doing what we can to protect against scalpers and inflated resale.”

The move comes as PinkPantheress returns to North America next spring for a second leg of her An Evening With PinkPantheress Tour, supporting her mixtape Fancy That? and the deluxe.

PinkPantheress isn’t alone in trying to keep prices reasonable. Hayley Williams has used verified presale systems like Openstage, requiring fans to authenticate their emails and phone numbers to block bots, and disabling transfers in some cities to prevent further resales. Olivia Dean recently criticized and pushed Ticketmaster to cap resale prices for her upcoming tour. The ticketing site also agreed to refund fans who had paid inflated prices on tickets.
