Kendrick Lamar Is Front-Runner at American Music Awards With 10 Nominations
In the wake of his Super Bowl halftime performance, K-Dot got nods in categories including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

And Kendrick Lamar’s “Dot era” continues.
The rapper leads the nominations for the 2025 American Music Awards with appearances in a whopping 10 categories, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Favorite Male Hip Hop Artist.
Post Malone is close behind, with eight nominations, while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey are tied, with seven each. Beyoncé also got nods for Cowboy Carter in the Album of the Year, Favorite Country Album, and Favorite Female Country Artist. categories.
Kendrick’s been a run like no other as of late, performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, winning multiple Grammys, and kicking off his co-headlining stadium tour with SZA. He was also just announced as a new ambassador for Chanel’s Spring 2025 eyewear campaign.
