Julia Fox Has Second Thoughts on Plastic Surgery: ‘I Wish I Could Go Back’
Still, the actress and model hasn’t ruled out going under the knife again.

Julia Fox is so over plastic surgery…for now.
The actress and model opened up to Allure and reflected on her choice to get work done. Fox says she’s speaking about this now because “it's super important when you become famous or a public figure to be transparent.”
“Now, when I see someone and I can tell they've never done anything…I wish I could go back and be that person,” she said. “I was so hung up on this idea that I needed to be attractive to men so that I could survive.”
@allure Like many people who straddle the lines between art, acting, modeling, and storytelling, @Julia fox, our new #AllureNext cover star, is not a fan of the word celebrity. “I still remember the first time I was ever described as that and the feeling of ick that came over me,” Fox says in a revealing interview that touches on topics ranging from pansexuality to cosmetic enhancements to motherhood. She may rub some people the wrong way (and she’s fine with that), but she never pulls her punches or muzzles her opinions, as you can see in the story at the link in our bio. Fox began her plastic journey with filler and Botox in her early 20s. As Allure noted, in other interviews, she’s said she got liposuction, a rhinoplasty, and veneers.
In a turn of events that shouldn’t shock anyone, even though Fox regrets going under the knife, it’s still not off the table for her in the future.
“I probably will [get more work done one day], but I'm just not as concerned with it right now,” she said.
Fox ended the interview saying she’s enamored of the idea of just letting herself get older.
“Am I going to chase the way I used to look, or am I going to evolve and see what's on the other side?” she said. “It could be something totally different, and I'm choosing to go that way. I just want to see who's there waiting for me. It'll definitely be uncomfortable, but I think I'm ready for it.”
