‘Okayyy, Received’: Timothée Chalamet Weighs in on Coulda Been Records Auditions
Clips from the fake label’s Brooklyn try-outs went viral.

The concept of voguing in front of Timothée Chalamet. Well, it’s no longer just a concept, but a reality, thanks to Druski’s Coulda Been Records.
The newest drop of the mock-talent-show series featured Chalamet as guest judge, and the Brooklyn auditions did not disappoint. We were there when crowds lined up outside, buzzing about seeing Druski and hoping to get signed…or at least meme’d. One hopeful we spoke to, an artist who goes by Moneygripp, even made the final cut of the episode, though he didn’t secure that fictional record deal.
But the real star wasn’t Gripp. It was a kid in a Nike Tech sweatsuit known online as madi2hotty, whose audition has already taken over timelines. He walked in stone-faced, silent, and then immediately launched into a “zesty sturdy," a modern, voguing-adjacent dance style created by Nez Porter that mixes footwork, attitude, and dramatic drops. Hotty even tapped his toes on a ping-pong paddle at the end.
Then came the finale, where madi2hotty blew Timothée a kiss. And lil Timmy caught it and said, “Okayyy, received.” Oscar behavior.
Chalamet sent madi2hotty forward to audition for Druski, who was less charmed.
“I thought you was a street n****. You loose as a goose,” he told the dancer before declining to sign him.
But the sturdy kid wasn’t the only viral moment. Another contestant, a wide-eyed and earnest kid, confidently told Timothée he’d never seen Wonka simply because he didn’t know his version existed. Then came the 61-year-old uncle who called himself a “YN,” who didn’t even audition???
“Timothee is someone that accepts side quests without reading the details," a comment said about the whole episode.
“Y’all shocked Timothy’s doing this? Be serious. This is VERY on brand," another TikTok user said.
“How can he be a genuine Oscar contender and this chronically online at the same time?”
Great question that needs an answer.
