Diddy Turns Down Plea Deal in Last Court Appearance Before Trial
Jury selection for the disgraced mogul’s trial begins May 5.

Sean “Diddy” Combs officially turned down a plea deal in his last appearance before his highly publicized federal sex trafficking trial begins on May 5, according to TMZ.
The disgraced mogul appeared in a Manhattan courtroom with his lawyers, the prosecutors, and Judge Arun Subramanian for the last conference meeting. On Monday, both his legal team and prosecutors will start questioning up to 150 people as part of jury selection.

In case you need a refresher, the one-time powerful music executive was arrested in September 2024 and is facing two counts of sex trafficking, two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, and one count of racketeering.
Prosecutors in his case will argue that for decades Diddy routinely committed physical and sexual violence against a multitude of victims. They say he forced women into having sex with male prostitutes in meticulously orchestrated “freak-offs” that would last days and involve excessive drug and alcohol abuse.
This case follows ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura suing him in November in 2023. He settled that case in one day.
Diddy pleaded not guilty to all counts.
