We finally have our first look at The Devil Wears Prada 2.

The 50-second teaser that dropped on Wednesday afternoon reintroduces us to Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) in her heel-clicking glory—this time they’re red stilettos with gold buttons all over them, and she’s striding toward an elevator.

A montage shows racks of couture, champagne toasts, a Met Gala-level event, and camera flash after camera flash. Just before the elevator doors close, in steps Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), prompting Miranda to utter a dry “Took you long enough."  All of this is soundtracked to Madonna’s “Vogue," by the way.

The film—which will feature Streep, Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, all reprising their roles—hits theaters on May 1, 2026 (just days before the real-life Met Gala) and is directed by David Frankel, who helmed the 2006 original.

And while the confirmed cameos include Lady Gaga, Sydney Sweeney, and Pauline Chalamet, there’s one question that matters just as much: Who are they wearing?

If there’s any justice in the style world, these are the designers who will make the cut.

Bottega Veneta

Miranda Priestly would kill in anything Bottega. No logos, no gimmicks—just her in something showstopping from the powerhouse brand.

Loewe

Andy Sachs in a playful-yet-chic Loewe outfit feels inevitable.

The Row

There will definitely have to be a couple interns trying to be seen as fashionable that’ll show up in The Row, right? The Olsen twins’ quiet luxury brand has to be the right uniform for women who never carry a purse smaller than a laptop.

Schiaparelli

Miranda deserves her surrealist moment in a Daniel Roseberry Schiaparelli piece.

Miu Miu

While it would make sense to feature some Prada, we’re going to go out on a limb and say there might even be some Miu Miu, a brand Prada fully owns, in the movie. It’s like the fun little sister who grew up and started running Fashion Week. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Sydney Sweeney or Simone Ashley in cropped knits, micro minis, and ballet flats.
