Christian Girl Autumn Is on Hold, at Least for This Year
Caitlin Covington needs a break.

If you wait all year for the cozy aesthetic of fall—you know, the crisp air, golden leaves, and boots lined up like soldiers—you might want to sit down for this news.
Caitlin Covington, the creator at the center of Christian Girl Autumn, has announced she’s skipping her annual fall photoshoot. Yes, the queen of scarves, pumpkin spice, and inspirational captions is taking a much-needed break.
“This is my fourth time recording. I just don’t know how I’m going to tell you guys this," she said in a TikTok, wiping tears from her face. "I’m not going to be able to post fall videos this year. It’s just a lot of pressure. There’s just a lot of pressure to make each video better than the last, to make each fall trip better. And I just really need a break this year. And I’m really sorry.”

For the uninitiated, Covington shot to viral fame in 2019, when photos of her in floppy hats became a meme for all things pumpkin-spiced. While the internet initially poked fun of the shoot, Covington leaned into her new role.
“Fall is officially cancelled till further notice,” one commenter declared, garnering 40,000 likes in agreement.

Others leaned into meme mode, with one person quipping, “Kim, there’s people dying,” in true Kardashian fashion.
But most responses were loving: “We understand diva!! You’ll always be our queen of fall 🍂🍁.”
Covington’s announcement comes days after she posted a Target haul of autumn décor, reminding followers she still adores the season, even if it doesn’t come with an elaborate trip or heavily staged photos this year.
“BTW I would WAY rather this fall content that is just you in life rather than a big elaborate trip that causes anxiety and unrealistic expectations,” a fan said in the comments of that video. “We love you and follow you for you!!!"
