ICE has made it clear that it is not above arresting undocumented immigrants, green card holders, and even American American citizens at their homes, places of work, and houses of worship. And now, per U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in what reads as a response to Bad Bunny’s choice not to perform in America on his upcoming tour, its agents will be at Super Bowl LX, where the Puerto Rican rapper and singer is set to perform at halftime.

TMZ confirmed the move, which comes in the wake of Corey Lewandowski, chief adviser to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, saying on right-wing podcast The Benny Show that ICE would be at the game.

"There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people in this country illegally,” Lewandowski said. “Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility, and we will deport you.”

Lewandowski also called the NFL’s choice of Bad Bunny for the halftime show “shameful.”

ICE told TMZ, “There is no safe haven for violent criminal illegal aliens in the United States.”

Last month, Bad Bunny told I-D that none of the 54 stops on his tour would be on American soil, though not because he dislikes the country.

“But there was the issue of—like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concert],” he said. “And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”

The Super Bowl is set to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Feb. 8, 2026.
