Angel Reese Is Victoria’s Secret’s First Professional Athlete Angel
The Chicago Sky power forward will hit the runway for the brand this month.

She’s no longer just an Angel in name.
Angel Reese and Victoria’s Secret announced that the Chicago Sky power forward will hit the runway for the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, becoming the brand’s first-ever professional athlete Angel.
“Angel Reese, welcome to the runway,” the Victoria’s Secret Instagram account posted. “Major is an understatement.”
Reese expressed her excitement in her own Instagram post.
“Stepping into a dream: From Angel to a Victoria Secret ANGEL. I’m finally getting my wings 🪽 I’ll be walking the Victoria’s Secret 2025 runway show for the first time, and it feels like destiny. ✨ Wings on, heels ready…Catch me on the runway💗 @victoriassecret,” she wrote.

Reese’s roots into fashion are only getting deeper. From tunnel looks that go viral on game days to a Vogue cover, the 22-year-old has quickly become a style fixture.
Her first signature shoe with Reebok, the Angel Reese 1, sold out within hours when it launched and is part of her multi-year deal with the brand.
The addition of Reese signals another step in the Victoria’s Secret’s long-running rebrand. After years of backlash over outdated marketing and a lack of inclusivity, the lingerie giant has been working to reinvent itself for a new generation. Its newest campaigns have tried spotlighting diverse body types, global ambassadors, and women with influence beyond modeling.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will return to New York City on Oct. 15, streaming live on Prime Video. The event will feature performances by Karol G, Madison Beer, Missy Elliott, and TWICE.
