5-foot-2 ItsPikaaa Shoots the Lights Out on ‘The Last Pick’
ItsPikaaa discovered basketball at six, when she arrived in America from Fiji. But while she can ball, at 5-foot-2, she’s never been the first player chosen.
“I like being the understood because it’s so much fun when people see you and they don’t expect you to be great at something, and then you’re good," ItsPikaaa says. “Seeing the shock in people’s faces is probably the best part for me.”
She linked with Ashley Williams for this week’s episode of The Last Pick, a Type.Set.Brooklyn series that pits underestimated players against respected ballers on the court.
